hello i am back from england

and it was gorgeous omg 
Everything was just-- 
SO PRETTY-- 

We need an RP based in England. Please. It was like it was out of Vampire Knight or something. The buildings were gorgeous, most of them Victorian in architecture, and old. The weather was mainly overcast and rainy, and everything was damp, green, and smelled good. God. The towns -- just -- everything. I need to post pictures. I'll probably make an album on Facebook or something. 
It was just so beautiful. 

The other thing it did to me, though, was really make me wanna rp. 
Especially romance and mystery. 
I got a book there called Now You See Me. It's about a murder mystery based upon Jack the Ripper. It's kinda profane, but it's really good. I'm almost finished with it. It's based in London. 
But we need to make an RP based in England because ;aslkdjfas;ldkfj;alksjdf

I'm glad you in enjoyed it, Stacianwaggon. I do have a few questions about the trip, considering I'm going next year. But for now, I totally agree with you. A rp based in England. And I have an idea. What about a modern setting for the crimes of Jack the Ripper or the mysteries of the likes of Spring-heeled Jack. We'll have all the modern crime fighting technologies, modern cars, etc. We can have important roles such as the main cop, the Sherlock Holmes type character, the lead forensic scientist. I'm not that great at coming up with roles.

But, as to your last question, I've been pretty alright. I can't speak for the others, but my summer, although being slightly unexciting, has been a well needed retreat.

That actually sounds a lot like the book I'm reading. 
It's about someone that's a "copycat" of Jack the Ripper, based upon the theory that "Jack the Ripper" was never "Jack" at all, and was actually female. The heroine is a police detective named Lacey Flint. She's a bit of a slut. There's sexual tension between her and an undercover detective several ranks higher than she whom she hates but clearly wants to undress. He thinks she's the killer. She thinks she's the killer. It's trippy. I'm almost finished with it. 
But it's written by a Brit so it uses all the British terms. It's great :'D

OMG! Thats what I had in mind. Sort of. The main cop was a female, and the guy was the romantic interest, and the guy was more of a consultant almost like on the show the Mentalist.

And petrichor is the smell of rain on dry earth. Did you smell petrichor in England? That kind of earthy, mineral-y smell.

I really don't think there IS a such thing as "dry earth" in England. Everything is wet all the time. Even if you bring an umbrella, somehow, you'll get wet. Moss is everywhere. The countryside smelt amazing and very earthy all the time, especially when it rained. I don't know if that's what you're talking about, but yes. 
London was different. Especially once you got near the heart of the city -- everything smelt industrial and smoky. My lungs probably look awful now from all the pollution I breathed in. bleh. 

Charlie omg 
Charlie...may or may not make a good crime investigator. If something has her attention, she'll give it her all -- but she is in no way interested in teams or following rules, so she'd be awful at any sort of job where she had to take orders from people. She'd probably be a side character that is involved somehow, and has to help, but everyone is cautious around because she does what she likes. She doesn't have a side, and is easily bargained with. She'd sell information in a heartbeat. She's learned to only do what she could to save HER ass skin, not  the people around her. Which is why she's rather selfish.

There is dry earth sometimes. But it's just that earthy smell. God, I could go on and on about that smell forever. I live in the south, and the smell down here can be beautiful at times. Though, sometimes the ground still has toxins from over use of pesticides and smells weird, or it'll smell like the beach, all salty and stuff. But England and Ireland, god. Some family in Ireland sent me a glass jar with a little bit of dirt and moss, and a single plant inside. And it smelled so...beautiful. God, sorry I keep going on and on. 

How were the linguistic patterns? Were they hard for you to understand?

Although I really wanna RP something sexy. We have Coal and Sara in SE, but there's really not that element in there yet. Coal's been living with her for a while, so he's not as...dangerous as he normally is. He's a little more comfortable.
